FAQ
Should my baby sleep in the same room as me?
It is recommended babies sleep in the same room as their caregiver for the first 6 months, this is soothing to your baby, and they are comforted when you are nearby.
Is it safe to co-sleep?
Co-sleeping is often done in an adult bed or couch where the baby's face can be covered by blankets or pillows, or they can roll and suffocate in the soft mattress. For babies to sleep safe, you need to see their whole face, make sure their neck is straight, that they are on their back, and that the surface is firm and free from blankets and pillows. These are factors that will keep your baby safe.
Is my baby safe sleeping in the car in their car seat?
Yes, your baby is safe sleeping in the car seat in your vehicle, because your car seat is seat at the right angle. However, if you take out the infant seat from the car and put it on the ground, you may change the angle to a position where the baby may slide down and choke on the straps, or the neck bends and the baby can't breathe.
